help! looking for a digital projector … information, opinions, etc. ..?

Hello, my husband wants a digital projector for our playroom. all suggestions, opinions, etc. ..? I'm confused and I want a good product w / o spending too much. Enough is $ 500 and up.

The projectors are the way forward, and while drematically prices declined in the last year or so, the price point of $ 500 is still marginal in projector. Consider also that the replacement bulbs (which last about 3000 hours or 2-4 years for 2-3 hours / day) $ 300-450 alone costs. You also need a screen (which can cost $ 500 – $ 2000 alone, even if a screen can make yourself for less than $ 100). A projector can be substiute for an HDTV monitor (no tuner), and the heart may be the ultimate home theater, but as the TV, you get what you pay for.
